It is our 2nd Anniversary of us, Icelyn and me. Icelyn has been my lovely girlfriend for the past 2 years!!

We had our dinner at Fusion Cafe(Lee Bai) which just the next door of TAO.

Since it is my post about my 2nd Anniversary. Hmm..i think i dun want to comment much of the foods of Fusion Cafe…

Icelyn bought me some lovely presents… First, It is a DIY photo frame which you can DO IT YOURSELF with some “bricks”….

It is actually something like LEGO where you can use your creativity to build up the photo frame.

There are some examples for your reference…

But i prefer to do it with my style…

Yeah.. the final outcome is … the two toy Bears standing in front of our photo…

These are the Bears which included in the DIY Photo Frame pack..

They just look a bit smaller if compare with my Bearbrick.

Second, it is actually…hmmm did you see that? Icelyn try to paste one the Bear inside the casing of my new remote control car… and she took away the car and place it somewhere under her piano…

She just ask me to press FORWARD with the remote control and my new remote control car directly, surprisingly came out from somewhere under her Piano… and in the dark as well…and the car got lamp!!! …. pensan…

This is the real Subaru Impreza….

I have been playing with this Mini Subaru Impreza for all day long today… It is a great present!!! As she knows i will die for TOYS!!!!!! I like it very much…Thanks Icelyn!!!

I bought her a handy drive as present as she need it very much at the moment.

It is another greatful moment with Icelyn, and i treasure more and more anniversary to come in the future!!!

I love you Icelyn!!!

Finally, i had found and bought the movie series~ Band of Brothers, which i had looking for since long ago.

Band of Brothers is an acclaimed ten-part television miniseries about World War II, co-produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Much of the action of the mini-series centers on the exploits of Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, U.S. 101st Airborne Division and one of its early platoon leaders, Lieutenant Richard Winters (later Major Winters). It is based on a book of the same name written by historian and biographer Stephen Ambrose.~wikipedia

The events portrayed in the mini-series are generally historically accurate and are based on Ambrose?s research and recorded interviews with Easy Company veterans. Ambrose recorded many interviews with Easy Company veterans which are extremely moving. All of the characters portrayed in the mini-series are based on actual members of Easy Company; some of them can be seen in prerecorded interviews as a prelude to each episode. The mini-series first aired in 2001 on HBO and is still run frequently on different channels. ~wikipedia

It consists of 10 episodes which are:

1. Currahee (directed by Phil Alden Robinson) ? Easy Company undergoes paratrooper training at Camp Toccoa, Georgia. The major characters are introduced, particularly Lieutenant Dick Winters and Lt. Lewis Nixon. The episode focuses largely on the men?s reaction to Captain Herbert Sobel, the egocentric and harsh original commander of Easy Company. However, Sobel?s leadership during training exercises leave the men uneasy about following him into battle. The NCOs, in an act of mutiny, say they no longer wish to serve in Easy Company. As a result the regimental commander, Colonel Robert Sink, removes Sobel as company commander and replaces him with Lt. Thomas Meehan. At the end of the episode, the company is shipped to England and prepares to drop into Europe as a part of the Operation Overlord D-Day invasion.

2. Day of Days (directed by Richard Loncraine) ? D-Day arrives and Easy Company participates in the Battle of Normandy, including the Br?urt Manor Assault. With the loss of Lt. Meehan, Lt. Winters assumes command of the company during the assault. The episode ends with Winters and Nixon looking on at the bombardment of their next objective, Carentan. This episode is shown mainly from the perspective of Lt. Dick Winters and shows his attempt to reach his assigned target after being dropped several miles off course.

3. Carentan (directed by Mikael Salomon) ? The 3rd episode begins with Easy Company taking the French town of Carentan. Easy Company then moves east of the town to form a line of defense. After the counterattack is repelled, the Company is moved off the front lines, and returns to England. This episode is shown from the perspectives of Private Albert Blithe, who struggles with fear and feelings of letting his compatriots down, and Lt. Welsh, who becomes one of the most valuable leaders of the company. The episode ends with Pvt. Donald Malarkey picking up his laundry from one of the local women, who inquires about laundry not yet picked up by some of his comrades ? men who will never return to England, let alone pick up their laundry.

4. Replacements (directed by David Nutter) ? Back in England, Easy Company gets green replacements; Winters, now a captain, leads the company as it is air-dropped into the Netherlands in support of Operation Market Garden. The episode is shown mainly from the perspective of the new men, as well as the perspective of Sgt. “Bull” Randleman who is missing in action and takes shelter in a barn surrounded by German forces, before making it back to Easy Company in the morning.

5. Crossroads (directed by Tom Hanks) ? Still in the Netherlands, Easy Company takes on a German offensive, told in flashback from the perspective of Winters, now battalion XO. Easy Company is taken over by Lt. Heyliger then Lt. Dike.

6. Bastogne (directed by David Leland) ? Easy Company is holed up near the Belgian town of Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge. This episode is shown from the perspective of Tech. 5 Eugene Roe, one of Easy company?s two medics.

7. The Breaking Point (directed by David Frankel) ? Illustrates the stress felt by the men during the fighting in and around the town of Foy, Belgium. This episode is shown from the perspective of First Sergeant Carwood Lipton. Capt. Ronald Speirs becomes Easy?s new CO when Lt. Dike breaks down during the assault on Foy.

8. The Last Patrol (directed by Tony To) ? Easy Company pushes on to the town of Haguenau. This episode is shown from the perspective of David Webster and a replacement lieutenant (played by Colin Hanks, son of the executive producer, Tom Hanks). Winters is promoted to Major, Lipton is commissioned a 2nd Lt.

9. Why We Fight (directed by David Frankel) ? Easy Company crosses into Germany and discovers a Nazi concentration camp near Landsberg.

10. Points (directed by Mikael Salomon) ? Easy Company captures Hitler?s Eagle?s Nest and contemplates a possible redeployment in the Pacific Theater. The war ends and the men of Easy Company return home.

It just another boring weekend with my swollen eye. Once i get not enough sleep. My eye will get swelled again. So disgusting….

I been busy for lots of stuff this while. The work load in my office has been enough for me. Somemore, i have some tuitions classes at nighttime. I am considering to stop one of my tuition class.

Sigh~ my Scout wood badge thesis which i suppose to complete it 2-3 years ago but i still haven got the time to finished it. Some of my juniors had already hang in their thesis even their were attending the courses later than me.

There are some more task which been discussed with my gang. But we haven initiate the task yet. Hey guy, i think we might start it few weeks later…sorry

Just feel like want to sit on my home sofa, lazying on it and watching my favourite movies…

Whenever think of the coming weeks. It is always full with all the stuffs… especially when i handle some assigned project from my scouts troop. I think my stand will be “keep quiet” in the next GEC meeting. The more you suggested the more you will need to do.

Just finished a project recently, which was the Parents Evening. I had started the preparatio for it since months ago. My given task was the Program in-charge who mainly taking care of the programs during the show. I had started to arrange for their practising in dances and sketch. So tired. but luckily my scouts members do take their initiative in their practising when my schedules were full. Good Job…..So as the rehearsal, until the show at the night. Standing at the back stage watching them in their performances…Finally it was a release as i feel when the show ended successfully…

As you know, i am programmer.. thus i am using my brain since 8 am till 5 pm. I used to code some mathematical fomulas in my coding where possible which reduce the line of codes in my source. That’s my style of programmings. Thus it eat up lots of my brain cells…Sometime got tuition at night time, and using my brain again, especially add maths and physics. Sometimes got scout meeting again which involved of lots of brainstorming. Back to home, there are lots more family stuffs to headache again…sigh.

Thus, sometime i was too “tired” to think and write something here…I just sit on my pc in my room. Hanging there dunno doing what…

I was little bit tired in term of mentally. Just fell like want to lay down on the beach at the seaside…listening to the sound of the wave. So peace ..so peace..

We went for the musical show of Hins and Ivana last night.

Hins had sang for 3 songs which one of it was the previous album, My Way. Ivana did perform 3 songs from her latest ablum. They finally gave Kuching fans a really nice duet call “Shou Wang”.

There were not much audience for the show, thus we were able to see them in the close distance.

Ivana, a singer from HK which is very new to me. She also can perform Hip Hop dance but she was not preparing for it during the show…hmm.. She is also a good piano player from what been annouced by the MC.
She been taking part in album production of Jacky Cheung in 2000 -2001.

Her pitch is high and sound is soft. We were a bit shocked when she first appeared on the stage. Because her appearance was not match with the sound she have…

Icelyn managed to shake hand with Hins.

We enjoy the show very well just take a bit dissappointed with the Kuching ppl…who did not prepare and yet want to go on the stage… really bad image for Kuching…
