There was a Digi MTV Powerpack party held last Saturday night at Grappa, 99 and Eagle Nest….

11.25pm, reached Grappa…(so fast? because i found some secret parking space…which is in front the shop of my friend….)

11.30pm, standing somewhere outside at Grappa, Me and Icelyn met KENNY SIA once again here:

11.45pm, pass by Eagle Nest…but is not “Fully Occupied”…

There was an car accident somewhere near the 3rd mile area last night.

By the time i passed by, the driver had came out from the vehicle and seem like injured on his forehead. There was a lady who trying to wipe his forehead with tissue but he push away her hand.

I stop my car aside and start KEPO to take some picture…

The Kelisa was seriously damaged on his front end:

It was raining and causing the road to be slippery. This was the second accident i saw last night where the first one was somewhere near BDC area.(din manage to take picture for you here).

Finally, I “officially” went to Kuching City Festival Food fair last saturday. The Kuching City Festival Food fair had nothing much differents compare with pass years. Only different is, we are getting older and lots of young faces are hanging around there.

Youngster who around 15++ were all over the place. They Lepaking around and searching for their friends.(They seems to have many friends to search with…).

Girls were trying to maximize their “performance” as:

There was a dancing group performed on stage by the time i reached. There were 2 girls singing cum dancing and one of them had relatively bigger body size than the other one. May be this was their strategy to fulfill the various “needs” from the audiences.

Blur? Sorry la, 6260 is not designed for long distance capturing but is for hidden snapshot!

I din stay longer and leave after having some Fried Shio Bee and Taiwan Sausage.

I went for the Kuching City Day Festival~ Secondary School Band Performance Show at hockey stadium last saturday night. It was a great show which consist of 7 Marching Band Troops.

I was late to the show but luckily it just some speech from YB and the performance havent started yet.

There were lots of supporters around who were parents, classmate, schoolmate and some public.

The first to perform was the Marching Band Troop from DBKU (Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara):

Second we had was Saberkas Cadet:

There was a little girl who just 7 years old and playing the tambourine as circled in red:

Coming up next was the Band Troop from all Chung Hua Middle School No.1, No.3 and No.4:

They did perform some simple formation while playing music.

Playing the piece: Rock Around the Clock

This “Rock Around the Clock” was the musical piece which we played since 1993 in Merdeka Band performance at Padang Merdeka. We play this song while we were in the formation of the Clock House.

This song been played for more then 10 years and is decided to be banned after this Band Performance.

This was the Indian Dance with some Indian-Like Solo played by percussion.

Drum Major, Alex Lim who on the right was one of our King Scout(Known as Queen Scout in UK) in our troop…

Finally, Performance done and march of from field with School Song.

Meanwhile, there was a little young girl who came in the middle of the show and tried to “inject” herself in from of me! She was rude and non-educatedLY stand just in front of me and collided me and icelyn backward…

I was angry and I just told her “Hey, Excuse me!, your arm is relatively high!!!” (She just then move down her arm)

I dun mind since she is just a little school girl but WTF! She talking without stop since she “reach” in front of me with her friends. Commented like she is an expert in Band all the way till the end!

From her conversation, i learned that she is from St.3 school..Hey girls from St.3!! teach your junior please!!!

The next troop to perform was the MBKSs Band:

And lastly, the Champion of Sarawak, St.Joseph School(Kuching) Marching Band:

Their perfomance were relatively great compare with other troops but their performance were not perfectly done as the weather was raining over there.

The show ended up around 9++ with presenting the souvenirs to each participated troops.

There was a street parade on 6 th August as one of the events in conjuction with the Kuching City Day Festival.

As usual, the scout troop did take part in this street parade event as one of the uniform units.

Seven early eight early we been queueing over there along the road of Lumba Kuda which is some where near the Kuching City Day festival food fair.

These are my frens who hanging there waiting for the start as well…

While waiting, i was moving around and took some photo for my blog here…. There were Africans as participant from Inti College who playing around on the road. They just dancing around with they own native musical instrument and rap by themselve. But it was quite interesting as they keep on blowing the fire frame with their mouth.(Please do not try at home!)

I walked to the grand stand as my scout troop reach in front of Kuching Hilton.It was crowded with people as i reach Padang Merdeka.

Some spot light were shooting to the sky at the Padang Merdeka.

I meet up my scout friends just in front of the stage. We can easily flipped into the front part which beyond the guarded line as we are in our uniform. Thus we just stand aside the Police official.

These umbrellas were installed with some colors bulb inside. They were controlling the switch on the holder to turn on different kind of light inside the umbrellas. With all the umbrellas with the on/off of the lights inside, it turn up with some messages. You might need to it see from top, but definitely not for us, was for the special guests on the stand.

There was a guy stand somewhere near by place. I din notice much until he turned his face over my sight. Huh..that was Kenny Sia i thought in mind. He was busy with his photo shooting. I just took the photo of him when he was busy taking photos…

I greet him, he responded with friendly smile. I seeking him for permission to take a photo with him and he was very nice to walk over to my place. After that, this was what we taken somewhere under the grand stand….

After taking photo with him, he eventually move over to other place to continue taking his own picture as i cant see him anymore around the grand stand area. I just stay at the same place to wait for my scout troop to come over so i can take nearer photo with them when they march pass the grand stand.
